Serie Ampliacion

The set of "Ampliaciones" (enlargement) take its name from photography. .
The tools that -we- plastics use to reflect our images, can be a lot, and as time goes by they modernize, though definitively, we arrive to the same goal.
In my personal view the casual encounter of a little objet lighten by the light of the first hours of the morning, documented photographically, allow myself to see in it, the shapes of big giant buildings, contrasting and enigmatic, and in that moment I saw all my work reflected, on the different stages of my painting: of the 80, set of shadows and reflection; of the 90, set of cities; the constructive forever and ever... and the one of a new passion: the photography and the digital.
And, as well as in "Blow Up", a classic film we all saw, in this case without discovering a murder, I began to enlarge the image from the same object. I modified its composition and passing from positive to negative and from monochromatic to brighten colors, I went through inexhaustible abstract visions. And once again the enlargement of same details of my painting, which generated new little works taken from a surface of 1 inch or so from the still painted, using fragments of sackcloth and thick coat of gesso, in order to transmit what my camera, in its approached position, let me see.
This is the beginning: about thirty oils and more than this number of digital "photoprinting". One more play in the way of the inner "labyrinth".
